Overview

Apple's HealthKit is a very helpful assistive tool for keeping track of your health, including clinical health records, sleep data, step count, and more. Having the Health app on the phone lowers the barrier for patients to keep track of more detailed information, and this information can be integrated into other health apps to analyze the progression of a patient's health. This can include:

  • Mobility
  • Clinical notes
  • Lab results
On a modal, Apple is asking which health records (allergies, clinical notes, clinical vitals, conditions, immunizations, insurance, lab results, medications, and procedures) you are willing to share with this app, using toggles.

Features

Data Collections

Apple's HealthKit conveniently organizes the health information so that relevant information can be easily accessed. This Spezi feature allows you to quickly import the data, minimizing the amount of needed data storage and pulled confidential patient information.
